And we’re off! The car is packed and the pups are ready for their first international trip. They’ll have to be patient, tho, because we won’t cross the border for 4 days!
This past week, Kismet and Roxy have been
freaking-out, because they’ve seen the suitcases packed and waiting. Every time I go to the door, they are on my heels, guarding me so I can’t leave without them. To them, this typically means that we’r leaving them behind with Ginger, their dog-sitter. Not this time. We’ve made the promise that they can go, if you’re real good… and they have been, so it’s off we go.
We’ll keep you posted on our progress from the road. In the meantime, I could use your suggestions for some of your favorite road-trip songs.
Bat Out Of Hell- Meatloaf.
Safe journey and good times…I can’t wait to see your tales from the road. Don’t forget about us. 🙂
See you in a couple weeks! Road trip song: Four Strong Winds – Ian Tyson. Thought you might need a little Canadian content.:-)
The dog sitter would have been more than happy to come along on this trip! Not sure how the new hubby or the employer would like that but it would be very good for me! I can’t wait to ready all about it.
oh yeah, for music Led Zeppelin I from beginning to end.
How about something from Levon Helm like “Dirt Farmer”? Have fun and be safe. Love ya!
