3 pups on a glacier
This shot was taken at the Athabasca Glacier along the Columbia Icefields parkway. The journey by car stretches 144 miles between Banff and Jasper National Parks in Alberta, Canadia, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
Global warming is evident here, as there are markers showing the rate of retreat (average 16 feet/year). The glacier is still magnificent at 6 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide.
If you haven’t ever seen a glacier up-close and personal, 3 pups suggest you hurry!
We have been there! We didn’t have the dogs though. It was on that trip last May that I got engaged! Great photo.

Scary thought – some may never see a glacier. Eeeek. But the 3 pups saw some!!!
We saw you on PBU and had to visit. I know, I’m a cat, but one of my best friends is a Schnauzer named Maggie, so you know I love woofies. I was a rescue. And when mama was growing up she had a wonderful dog–from an animal shelter. So, we are rescue supporters!!
