Where to start?
OK, not gonna bore you with the details. Here it is in a nutshell.
After 3 agonizingly long months, Kismet finally got a new engine. During that time:
a) we found a boat on the west coast that we eventuallly bought, and
b) we were displaced from our “home”, so we rented a car and visited family and friends.
Christmas week, when she was finally ready, we went into delivery-mode to move Kismet from Annapolis to Ft. Lauderdale, where we now have her listed for sale with our broker.
3 days later, we rented a moving truck, packed up all our worldly belongings (except for a few things that are in storage) and drove cross-country to San Diego.
Here, we took possession of our new sailboat, an Antares 44i catamaran, where we have been living aboard for the last 3 weeks.
We are currently settling-in and tweaking the boat (to be named El Gato once the Coast Guard sends us the paperwork.)
WHEW!!!!!!
When I get a chance to come up for air, I will post a more interesting blog, but lots of friends have been asking for pictures and updates, so this is the best I can do for now.
